The biggest release in the plugin’s history. AI Workflow Automation is now a full agent platform: chatbots that take real action, a one-click way to bring your favorite apps into a workflow, polished PDFs, a private knowledge base for your AI, and a completely redesigned dark builder. Everything below ships in this release.

Your chatbot is now an AI agent

• Agents that act, not just reply. The chat node can reason step by step and take actions on your behalf: run your connected workflows and tools, search your site, do calculations, and more. Simple chatbots keep working exactly as before.
• Live human handoff with an Operator Inbox. Hand any conversation to a real person, through your existing helpdesk or the built-in option, and watch live chats from a new Operator Inbox, where you can reply, approve the agent’s actions before they run, and take over. The visitor’s chat resumes on its own once you step away.
• Interactive, shoppable messages. The chatbot can show product and content cards, carousels, and quick-reply buttons, including a real “Add to cart” for WooCommerce, right inside the conversation.
• File uploads and memory. Visitors and agents can securely share images and documents (off by default), and the chatbot can remember earlier messages across a conversation or a returning visitor.

New nodes and capabilities

• Connect an App. Bring your favorite apps: Google Sheets, Drive, and Docs, Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, and more, into a workflow as action steps. Connect your own account with a secure one-click sign-in, pick an action, and its fields load automatically.
• Generate PDF. Produce polished PDFs from six professional templates: invoice, report, letter, certificate, proposal, and one-pager, or your own HTML, with a free live preview so you see exactly where your data lands before spending anything.
• Structured multi-output from the AI node. Have the AI return named, typed fields that flow straight into later steps, no extra parsing node needed to split the answer.
• Knowledge Base. Give your AI a private knowledge base: paste text, pull in your WordPress content, or upload PDF, DOCX, and TXT documents, then switch it on for the AI Model and Chatbot nodes.
• Loop node. Repeat steps over a list or until a condition is met, with several ways to collect the results.

Build faster

• Interactive workflow generator. Describe your goal and the generator asks a few short clarifying questions, lets you choose the AI model, and builds a noticeably more accurate workflow.
• In-canvas AI assistant. An always-open command bar lets you chat about your workflow or have the assistant edit the canvas directly from a description.
• Live execution panel. A slide-in panel shows each node running in real time, with its inputs and outputs expandable as the run progresses.
• Onboarding and a Usage Center. A short welcome walkthrough and on-canvas coach-marks teach the basics (re-openable any time from Help), and a new Usage Center shows your credit history and daily consumption in Account & Credits.

For agencies

• Multi-site management. Manage every connected WordPress site from one owner-only console: per-site usage, per-site credit caps, renaming, and provisioning. (Business.)

A fresh look

• Fully redesigned dark builder. A cohesive dark theme now runs across the builder, every node card, the canvas, and all settings and list pages.

Platform and reliability

• Cloud execution with fair, per-action credits. Run workflows in the cloud, metered fairly per action, with top-ups and subscriptions. Existing license holders are automatically moved to monthly credits when they connect, no manual steps.
• Live run status. Cloud runs stream progress as they happen, and manual runs stream per-node results on every server type.
• More reliable, more accurate runs. Corrected credit pricing, solid support for the newest AI reasoning models across every path, and fast, clearly worded failures when a site can’t be reached.
• Cheaper AI generation. Smarter prompt reuse cuts the cost of repeat generator and assistant calls by roughly 90%.

Refinements and hardening

• App connections gained a connected-apps-first view, an “Add app” search, and one-click disconnect to switch accounts.
• Security hardening across sign-in, credit handling, and webhooks, plus UI polish throughout the redesigned builder.

The groundwork that made the relaunch possible: rebuilt nodes, a cleaner writing experience, and a more dependable engine.

Rebuilt and refreshed nodes

• Web scraping and crawling, rebuilt. Cleaner Scrape, Crawl, Map, and Search operations, each with the right options for the job.
• Media generator with a live model catalog. The image, video, and audio generator now loads an up-to-date catalog of models instead of a fixed, aging list.
• Email node redesigned into a proper compose window: To, Cc, Bcc, and Subject fields, a rich or plain toggle, and variable pills everywhere.
• Friendly variable pills. References now read as “input from <node name>” with a “/” picker, instead of raw bracket syntax.

Cleaner, calmer interface

• Redesigned chat widget: sleek and fully isolated from your theme, so it looks the same on any site.
• Sticky notes and canvas annotations redesigned with a readable palette and a fixed, clickable formatting toolbar.
• Settings overhaul: a working diagnostic-log download, per-tab icons, shareable deep-linked tabs, and a decluttered layout.
• Gentle, non-blocking prompts. Nothing free is ever gated, bring your own API keys and it stays free.

Fixes you may have hit

• AI nodes no longer error on newer reasoning models when a custom temperature or token limit is set.
• Local AI content tools (sentiment, summary, article writer, SEO) now respect the AI provider you actually configured, instead of forcing one provider.
• WooCommerce product search now appears on WooCommerce sites.
• The chat widget no longer changes your theme’s fonts and layout.
• Upgrading from the older plugin no longer causes a fatal error when both are briefly present.
