Installing AI Workflow Automation takes a couple of minutes. There is no license key to enter: the plugin is free to install and every node type works in Local (BYOK) mode.
Install from the WordPress admin
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File and select the AI Workflow Automation zip file.
- Click Install Now and wait for the upload to finish.
- Click Activate Plugin.
If you install from the WordPress.org plugin directory instead, search for AI Workflow Automation on the Plugins > Add New screen, click Install, then Activate.
No license step
Earlier versions had a separate Lite and Pro split with a license key. That is retired. There is one plugin, it is free, and there is nothing to unlock. You add an AI provider key (or connect a free account) to start running workflows, which is covered in Add your API key or connect an account.

Where it lives in wp-admin
After activation you get a new AI Workflows item in the WordPress admin sidebar. That single menu opens the visual builder, where you manage workflows, open Settings, and create new automations. Human approvals appear under a separate Tasks menu.
First open
The first time you open AI Workflows, a short welcome walkthrough and on-canvas coach-marks introduce the basics. You can re-open them any time from the Help menu inside the builder.
