The specialized AI nodes are focused, single-purpose versions of the AI Model Node. Each one wraps a common task behind a simple form so you do not have to write a prompt from scratch. They live in the AI Actions category of the node palette.
The specialized nodes
- Write Article Node: generates a complete article from a topic and instructions, targeting a word count.
- Summary Generator Node: condenses longer content into a short summary.
- Sentiment Analysis Node: classifies the sentiment of text, useful upstream of a Condition Node.
- Extract Information Node: pulls named fields out of unstructured text.
- Optimize SEO Node: rewrites text to target a set of keywords.
- AI Research Node: runs live web research with Perplexity Sonar models.
When to use a specialized node instead of AI Model
Reach for a specialized node when your task matches one of the above: the form is quicker to fill in and the prompt is handled for you. Use the general AI Model Node when you need full control over the prompt, a specific model, structured multi-output, vision, or a knowledge base.
Local, Cloud, and credits
All specialized AI nodes run in both Local vs Cloud execution modes. In Local mode they use your own provider key; in Cloud mode they spend credits. Credit costs vary by node, from 1 credit for sentiment analysis up to 40 for research. Each node’s page lists its exact cost.
